Ben is best known for his work on Tinhat Productions 2024 film, Battle Over Britain. A WW2 feature length drama directed by Callum Burn and distributed by Kaleidoscope Film Distribution (KFD). Also, his current involvement with TinHat Productions next feature, Landship.

His recent credits include assisting esteemed composer Sarah Warne on a 2x60 episodic factual documentary for Sky History Channel, KURSK: 10 Days That Shaped Putin. Directed by Becky Reed and produced by Hidden Light Productions. This position saw Ben assisting Sarah throughout the project and also included providing additional original music scored to picture.

He is also known for the 2024 Australian horror film REMNANT and the 2022 factual documentary The Biggest Dream.

Ben’s style is broad yet well established, He takes pride in being able to elevate a story or scene via his immersive and emotional weighted scores.

Ben Thatcher is a highly creative UK based Media and Film Composer and Multi-Instrumental Musician, his work has been attached to independent film productions from the UK, USA, and Australia.
